Save videos and images in one click
Copy a link on X, then press the large button
Saving takes two steps. There is no URL field.
- Open the post on X (Twitter) and copy the link from the share menu.
- Press the large button in the app.
The app reads the URL from the clipboard. If the post has media, downloads start right away. Posts with several files save one after another. “Download media 1” links also appear at the bottom if the browser blocks automatic downloads.
On a phone
In the X app, open the post and choose Copy link or Share link. Open the app in a browser and tap the same large button. Add it to your home screen if you want it handy next time.
If the browser asks for clipboard access, allow it. If you deny it, saving cannot start. See When clipboard access is denied.
If it does not work
Make sure you copied a post URL. Profile and search URLs do not work. See Supported URLs and When saving fails.
